Start with labor, including paid travel. Add supplies, vehicle costs, and a share of overhead. Divide that total by one minus your target margin.

Quote = total cost ÷ (1 − margin)

For example, a $140 job cost with a 30% target margin needs a $200 price. Adding 30% to $140 gives $182—and only a 23.1% margin.

This calculator rounds the quote up to the next whole dollar. It does not calculate tax or determine the price a customer will accept.

A few useful answers

Can I use this if I’m a solo cleaner?

Yes. Set people to 1 and enter the hourly pay you want to earn for the work. Owner pay belongs in labor; profit is what remains after that pay and the other costs.

Does this work for deep cleans and move-outs?

Yes, if you estimate the time and supplies for that specific job. Include inside appliances, buildup, access, and other extra work in your scope. The calculator does not assume every house takes the same time.

Are my entries saved?
